Walking into Savannah Florist is like walking into a garden or greenhouse. The greenery itself is refreshing, and for a country boy, it makes me feel at home. The flowers are gorgeous and they can make about any combination of arrangements for all sorts of occasions.
And the best part...... even if you can't make up your mind, you still can enjoy the experience of greenery for no cost at all. That said, this is not a botanical garden where you can just go and hang out, please respect the business.
I ordered an arrangement of all roses that cost me $135.00 and when it was delivered it was an arrangement of Lilies, Carnations, and a couple of Roses mixed in. Not worth arrangement of roses I had already picked out. My wife was extremely disappointed seeing how she doesn't like carnations and the Lilies are toxic to our cats. I called the florist and all she did was argue with me saying I had agreed to her putting Lilies in place of the Roses. She then said I could bring them back and she would put the roses in instead of the Lilies. I paid for the Roses not the Lilies, why should I have to take them back for her to fix it? I also paid extra for delivery!!! I just got out of surgery and I explained this to her but she didn't care, I guess. I guess she also has forgotten how important an arrangement of flowers can be. When you go to the trouble of picking out a specific design you must be trying to convey a specific feeling! Sending this arrangement of flowers put me in a situation to have to try twice as hard to repair the damage. I know I will never use this florist again and the other flowers I just spent $135 on will wind up in the trash!!!! Thank you again for the wonderful day you provided my wife and I. In a way, I hope this place goes out of business soon especially if they treat all of there customers with this kind of respect.
