More recently we took our less than one year old child here to seek treatment for a fever and inconsolable crying at 2 AM. The ER was once again WORTHLESS. They told us that she had an ear infection and sent us home. When I was finally able to get her into see her pediatrician they told us for a fact that it was not an ear infection and that there were no signs of it having been an ear infection.
How many of us are willing to bear the lack of cooperation and the ingratitude of others, and keep on day after day after day?
How many of us "lay people" are willing to miss our holiday for someone else?
Very impatient at the worst times. Came to ER for breathing issues. They wouldn't give me oxygen inhaler anything.. No privacy very unprofessional. Couldn't care less.
Count your blessings
You're much better driving the hour to either the Florence, AL or Jackson, TN hospital. These people are the worst. Go here if you want absolutely nothing done for whatever you're suffering from. If you aren't dying you are far better off waiting for your doctor office to see you or trying to get in with a specialist in the area. Personally, I would sooner choose death during the hour drive to another hospital than go here since they'll probably just kill you anyways.
How many of us are willing to walk several rounds in the middle of the night dealing with people that don't really appreciate the care they are receiving?
Took my husband here after he dropped something heavy on his foot. We took him to the ER almost immediately after. His foot had swollen to double the size and was bright red and impossible for him to walk on. He couldn't even put real shoes on to walk in the door his foot was so painful. They told him he was acting like a sissy after they did an x-ray of his foot and found nothing wrong. A week later after he was still in pain we went to the West Tennessee Foot Clinic (wonderful doctors and staff) and they immediately told him his foot was in fact broken and that if he had waited any longer to seek real treatment he could have required surgery to correct the fracture.
The staff and doctors were amazing!! They all made me feel comfortable and acted like they actually cared to find out what was wrong with me it turned out I had a tubal pregnancy and they were all so amazing before and after the surgery! I was honestly putting off my pain bc I didn't want to go to our ER bc all the stories I've heard or a few experiences I had! But I would like to praise the nurses and doctors for there kindness and concern!
Absolutely worthless hospital!!! We know now to risk our concerns over crime rate in Jackson and just GO TO A REAL HOSPITAL!
We've also had issues with other family members coming here and their (lack of) treatment, but that's not my business to be discussing.
How many of us are willing to do something for someone else when they act like we owe it to them and don't even bother thanking us?
Not to good they give u a shot in say it will help but it make it worst
