Such a fun place to visit. Great hiking and very educational if you go to the visitors center or pick up a booklet about the events from the local boy scout troop.
Shiloh is by far the best national military park in the southeast. The park offers great hiking and is well documented throughout. The museum adequately covers the battle. The deer population is relatively high and offers good deer watching opportunities. The bald eagle population has increased as well. The park is also an excellent place for family as well as individual biking. You can't go wrong with a visit to Shiloh.
