Camping under the pines is just wonderful. You can hear the wind blowing in the trees and it smells nice. The Tennessee River is next to the park, nice place for rock hunting and fishing. Pickwick State Park is around the corner.

Good place to fish and camp

Good place to camp

Beautiful campground, very clean. Only complaint is the smell. Not sure if it’s the power plant or the river, but there’s a strong sewage smell in the air. We had to leave because it was so bad. It’s a shame, this place has potential.

Love these camp hosts...very nice...and clean
